Currently the Bookmarks in Konsole are usefull, although they need some some as another user already suggested. However, one the most annoying things for me with konsole is the fact that I need to manually change the profile everytime I use bookmarks. So,my suggestion is to add a drop-down menu with currently set profiles and associate one of them with the bookmark. I hope that this change is not a difficult one and it go in production soon.
Note: I am no maintainer but from the bugsquad. Hey Peter, I think I do not really understand what you want to suggest. 1) There is a dropdown menu where you can switch between different profiles (Settings > Switch Profiles) 2) Using bookmarks should not result in a change of profil, at least not in my usage.
