Description Christoph Feck 2016-12-10 14:52:12 UTC
Created attachment 102719 [details]
smaragd.knsrc

Trying to use the attached .ksnrc file with knewstuff frameworks, clicking the "Install" button fails to download the content files.

For example, trying to download the 'seven' theme fails. For details about the returned information for this theme, see https://phabricator.kde.org/T4863

Testing using 'khotnewstuff4' works fine, so there is a regression in the KF5 version of the knewstuff framework.

what application are you using to test it? I would like to reproduce in a setup as same as possible
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2016-12-11 13:56:06 UTC
I use KWin 5.8:
- download http://developer.kde.org/~cfeck/skeleton-kns.tar.xz
- build and install
- kcmshell5 kwindecoration > Get New Decorations > org.kde.skeleton
- check konsole output and/or verify in ~/.local/share/smaragd/themes

I tried your code, but all seems to work (knewstuff is from master)
i tried to install colors^2 and seven themes, and the files get downloaded correctly to ~/.local/share/smaragd/themes

Indeed, fixed with commit 6e3036da10d560148d57f41403336ccd7cebf41b
