Description David Biesack 2016-12-08 21:09:18 UTC
When I close a konsole with the window manager, konsole pops up a dialog
Confirm Close - Konsole
There is a check box "Do not ask again" but if I select that, then select
the [Close Window] buttom, konsole does not remember the option and
asks again the next time.

konsole --version
Qt: 5.5.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.18.0
Konsole: 15.12.3

You're on a somewhat old version

What does "cat ~/.config/konsolerc " show?

Should be something like:

[Notification Messages]
CloseAllEmptyTabs=true
Comment 2 David Biesack 2017-01-23 14:38:26 UTC
I added that section to ~/.config/konsolerc and konsole no longer pops up a confirmation.

I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xubuntu, really) and 15.12.3 is what I got from the default `sudo apt install konsole`
Comment 3 Thomas Braxton 2017-02-19 02:01:57 UTC
This seems to work correctly in version 16.12.2.
Comment 4 Kurt Hindenburg 2018-03-08 14:57:21 UTC
closing as it is fixed in later versions
