Description René Krell 2016-12-06 10:38:03 UTC
In log viewer, if I select a contact history and using the contect menu on the contact name, choosing Clear contact history I get the following:
- A warning message box appears: Are you sure.... ->Choose button Delete
- Only the contact disappears in the left upper part of the log viewer, but the messages (dates and contents) are still shown below.
- If restarting the log viewer also the contact name itself is available again, along with all the contact history.
At the end, nothing is deleted at all.

I f deleting, I'd expect the contact and its history disappera instantly from log viewer unless there is no new message in a chat from that contact.

Sorry, I can't tell you any longer, haven't used Telepathy for a very long time and don't have an instance for testing it the next time.

You may close this if you want.

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
