when you go up or down the layer stack, krita shows the layer in focus. even if you scroll out of range,if you do one "page up" shortcut it will refocus on the layer,and show it. This also happens when you PICK the layer on the canvas. but it doesn not happen for the timeline and I would like that it does. This should perhaps be an option though, but for now i don't see what advantages the current way of working has compared to the one i propose. Selecting a layer in the layer box should also focus that layer in the timeline.
