I am a newbie at Krita. So my first attempt on a white canvas was to just make some strokes on it. My first stroke had no result (so I thought). Therefore I choose another brush by right-clicking the mouse on the canvas. And there is was instantly: my first stroke. The strokes thereafter were also invisible until the right-click. That's no way to make a drawing. OS: Windows 10 Pro Processor: Intel Core I7-2600K @ 3,4 GHz RAM: 8 GB Type system: 64-bits, x64-processor No pen, no touch screen.
Could you download debugview (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/debugview.aspx), run it and start Krita, then attach the output to this bug report. On some Intel systems, the display drivers are broken and don't support OpenGL correctly. There isn't anything we can do about that -- you can try to update the drivers, but that's difficult with Windows 10, or disable OpenGL. Unfortunately, none of the dozen or so Intel laptops we have access to as developers show the issue, so we need the log output to see whether we can find a way to identify and blacklist broken drivers.
