Description Dieter Jurzitza 2016-12-05 20:03:52 UTC
I am using opensuse leap 42.1. Amarok 2.8.0 from packman (but this has no impact at all). When I choose "Album" "download Cover" the apropriate window opens, but no covers show at all, whatever source I choose (gootle, yahoo, whatever).
Internet is working flawlessly, just for the records. I can manually download a cover, can tell amarok where to find it and access it - but no way to use the cover download from internet functionality. Any ideas?
I tried to build and use an older version of amarok - in vain, no change in behaviour.
Thank you very much for you support,
take care

Sadly all the sites we used for cover downloading in the past have either changed their conditions or their code, so the whole Cover fetching doesn't work anymore

I would not call it a regression since it's broken in every older version as well.

technically it is, as it used to work before, the regression is caused by external factors, though.

This actually seems to be working in 2.9.71, it'd seem it fetches from Last.fm, but not completely sure.
