Description Miguel Meza 2016-12-01 21:45:27 UTC
After an update to fedora 25 the area that the application captures i always is a completely black. It doesn't matter if I do an screenshot for the complete desktop, a window or a section.

I don't know what might have changed to cause this problem.

It was working perfectly in Fedora 24.

Are you using the 'ksnapshot' or the 'spectacle' utility?
Comment 2 Miguel Meza 2016-12-06 18:20:57 UTC
I was using the ksnapshot utility. I think the error might not be related directly with ksnapshot but with the new integration of Wayland or something else. At the end I had a lot of problems with video reproduction, programs crashing with the use of a mouse scrolling and more.

I decided to downgrade to fedora 24 because it was really annoying.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
