Description Brennan Kinney 2016-11-27 02:15:42 UTC
I'd like a way to set the title of Konsoles window(s). This is possible with iTerm2 profiles, with Konsole it only seems I can remove the "- Konsole" part and inherit tab titles? Could there please be an option to set the window title based on profile?

There is a few stack overflow posts I came across where one had a shell script to do this, having this setting possible via profiles/settings UI would be great however :)

echo -ne "\033]30;Custom Title\007"

Seeing as that duplicate appears to have been ignored for 3 years with no feedback and this is being resolved as a duplicate.. Is it likely this feature request won't see a chance of being implemented?

If so any reason? Is there a more appropriate place to request a feature like this(KDE/KWin)? If there is no blocker would a PR/Patch be accepted?

I am not aware of any decision to block a patch. So if you have one, please create a review request at https://git.reviewboard.org/ for repository 'konsole'.
