Manjaro KDE 16.10 x64 - Latest packages. I've noticed this quite a few times over past month or two(that I've been using KDE, no idea if it's a regression or gone unnoticed). When I reboot/shutdown with apps like dolphin open with multiple tabs and I restore the session on login, everything seems fine until an app such as browser download or docker saves a file into one of the file locations a restored session tab is displaying. The new file/folder is not visible. I've tried to navigate away by going up parent directories or using back/forward to refresh the location but the files still do not display. In a terminal session I can list the files/folders and see the new ones at that location. Opening a new dolphin instance and navigating to the location also reveals the files. I recall that at some point some files did reveal themselves, it may have been an hour or longer, I was doing some pdf generation and the ownership was not my local user for this usecase. So I think it's still possible the files may reveal eventually in the restored Dolphin session without opening a fresh instance of Dolphin.
Odd issue. I'm not able to reproduce with Dolphin 16.12.3. Please leave a comment if you can still reproduce using a newer version of the software.

I haven't noticed it recently. Test case if reproducible would be: 1. Open few tabs in dolphin 2. Reboot 3. Session is restored, dolphin pops up with tabs from prior session 4. Via another instance of dolphin or app that adds a file to a location the restored Dolphin window has 5. Check if the tab displays the new file(supposedly not notified of new file).
Thanks! I haven't been able to reproduce with that set of steps, but it's good to have that here for reference in case it ever starts happening again.
