I use to mount devices such as SD cards with the 'removable devices' widget on LXQt. Unintentionally this action starts my music player and tries to load what's on the device. I guess this option is set-up via removable storage where I have 'Open with File Manager' > Portable Media Player but with no chance to delete. Also the interaction is completely unclear and full of tech-babble. The majority of KDE users will likely not run a default action when changing the processor. Please investigate this feature. (I file against kactivitiesmanager because it was listed in journalctl. Maybe wrong.)
Can you post the output from journalctl?
At the first try I found kactivities in journalctl but not later (didn't put too much time into it). And the other messages are not so interesting. The issue has two aspects: the configuration of my system and what KDE offers in system settings independent from my personal issues.
> At the first try I found kactivities in journalctl This needs to be moved to another component then. Activities have nothing to do with device mounting.
Hello Heiko, is this still reproducible? If so, can you provide the steps to reproduce? Your comment seems to imply a default action takes place automatically on mounting, but I don't see this option in the current device notifier or in its System Settings module.
