When I invoke yakuake window by pressing the hotkey (F12) the window sometimes doesn't show. I know that the hotkey has been registered because I can see its entry appear in the task bar (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343061). By pressing the hotkey again I can then "remove" the window (although it's not visible) and pressing the hotkey the third time usually brings yakuake for real. On some occasions, yakuake window appears below some of the other windows currently open instead of being on the foreground. I think it might indicate that the problem relates to window ordering. Although the cases when the window is completely invisible also happen when there are no open windows on the desktop. In order to reproduce the problem it is enough to invoke yakuake by pressing the hotkey. It doesn't happen every time, one will likely have to press it many times. Kubuntu 16.10, x86_64, Nvidia drivers 370.28.
