I have the latest KDE Neon distribution with the latest updates installed. 
When I try to use remote:/, fish:/ or smb:/ ... both dolphin and krusader show (sorry for German language version):

klauncher meldet: Fehler beim Laden von „/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kio_remote.so“
I checked /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins$ ll kio*

so at least kio_remote.so is in place and it is installed from the neon repro.

Is there a hack to help the load to find the .so and load it ?
