PIM Setting Exporter 4.14.2

'Tools'-'Export Kmail Data'-'Back Up Data' successfully creates a zip file. However, the mail.zip file contained with the back up zip file appears to contain only some of the Local Folders (see attachment). I cannot see any obvious property to distinguish the folders that get backed up from the ones that don't.

Thank you and regards

4.14.2 is very old.
Could you verify it on new version ?
(Last version is 5.4.3)
Comment 3 Peter 2017-05-26 20:57:53 UTC
Laurent,

I can't verify that at the moment. The problem has come about because I am wanting to transfer my emails from Mint 17.3 KDE to Mint 18.1 KDE, so I'm not sure I can check whether I can replicate the problem, until I've transferred the emails that I can't transfer!

What I have noticed is that the folders that PIMSettingsExporter sees are the ones that are visible in .local/share/local-mails. However, I seem to have a lot of folders that are visible from within Kmail but don't show up in .local/share/local-mails. (I'm not sure whether these are all folders that were imported from a previous installation, but I don't think so.)

And just so as I'm completely snookered, I find that I cannot archive a lot of the folders as I get the message, "Failed to archive the folder '<folder name>'.
Downloading a message in folder '<folder name>' failed." (NB There are plenty of folders that aren't visible in .local/share/local-mails which do archive OK, so I don't think the problems are linked.

Any thoughts you may have on a way to proceed will be most gratefully received!

Regards

Peter
