Description Geoff King 2016-11-14 22:45:15 UTC
I ran the BQM to rename and export files to a new directory. This completed successfully. I went to close BQM and it says "There are still 129 unprocessed items in "#1". ", which seems incorrect.
Comment 1 caulier.gilles 2016-11-15 06:39:37 UTC
I'm surprised that renaming work properly. Typically bqm must process files only if at least one tool is plug to the queue. If this workflow is considerated as valid code must be fixed
Comment 2 Geoff King 2016-11-15 20:31:54 UTC
Let me clarify. I also had it resize, then save with a different file name.

A new fresh 5.8.0 pre-release PKG installer for MacOS was just rebuild for testing and is available here :

Please confirm if the problem remains with this version.
Thanks in advance

I tried it and It still the same (the queue processed and completed).
Maybe I am misinterpreting this dialog?
Rather than change the functionality, maybe the wording of the dialog should be changed to omit "unprocessed".:
"There are still XX items in queue "#Y".

Geoff,

Can you reproduce the dysfunction with digiKam 6.1.0 pre release MAcOS package available here:

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Thanks in advance

Tested. Still the same with 6.1.0 pre-release as when originally reported. I think all that is needed when removing a queue is a text change to something like this:
"There are still XX items in queue "#Y".
"Are you sure you want to remove this queue?"

digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published:

https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/

We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version.

Hello. Tested on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and Digikam 7.0.0.
I don't see any changes.
I still find the dialog a little confusing.

I tried it and processed Queue #1 twice. Then went to "Remove Queue" and it said there are still 2 unprocessed items.

See comment 4, maybe just a clarification of the text would help?
Maybe there is a way to make a distinction between already processed and unprocessed queues?

Hello. Tested on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and digiKam-7.2.0-beta2-20201219T112949-MacOS-x86-64

I don't see any changes.
I still find the dialog a little confusing.

I tried it and processed Queue #1. The batch change was successful. Then went to "Remove Queue" and it said there are still unprocessed items.
