I recently started writing image captions in HTML, for posting to a Piwigo gallery. This has made editing captions in digiKam a pain.

When initially writing a caption, I can write HTML source code as I expect. However, if I switch to another photo and then switch back, the "Captions" box in the right sidebar ("Description" tab) now shows the caption as rendered HTML instead, making it impossible to edit.

The caption editor should not try to interpret HTML, but instead always show the editable source code.
