Created attachment 102225 [details] Big pdf. I found that all xpdf+poppler libs based PDF viewers has error with bookmarks processing. In big pdf documents with long table of contents with many sublevel, they cut TOC unpredictable. I had test Okular, Evinece, xpdf and other viewers and all of them show the same problem. I attach a example document in samplebigpdf.zip. It was fixed in Master PDF 3 (bookmarks added for navigation). In sample file PDF viewers do lose bookmarks: Chapter I > 1. Some Basic Items lost "Terms and Definitions" Chapter I > 2. Binary and Hexadecimal Numbers lost all from 2.10 Chapter II > 3. Conceptual Structure of System Z lost all from 3.8 and more. The Adobe PDF Reader, Foxit Reader and PDF.js do not lose a bookmarks. Thahks!
What do you mean by 'lose bookmarks'? Do you mean that the document contains certain bookmarks which are not shown by okular, but shown by other viewers?
(In reply to Oliver Sander from comment #1) > What do you mean by 'lose bookmarks'? Do you mean that the document > contains certain bookmarks which are not shown by okular, but shown by other > viewers? Exactly!
Please open a bug report upstream at poppler https://bugs.freedesktop.org/
Bug report https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98732 resolved. When update will be available?
First is not resolved, there's a patch. Second Okular has nothing to do with this, it will be resolved when poppler releases a new version.
