I saved the file as well as turned it off, but later on my computer restarted, and now the file is corrupted. I've attached the file here if anyone could possibly restore it-- i've already spent hours upon hours on it, and had just finished the flat colour, hoping to start the shading when I found the file corrupted. I would really, really appreciate if someone could try to fix this file!!!

I'm sorry, but that file cannot be recovered. A kra file is a zip file, but no zip repair tool that I tried could recover anything in this file.

Hi Melissa, I've checked your file and all it contains are zeros. Without access to your system, I cannot guess how this came about, but I'm wondering whether your drive isn't dying.
I saved my file (making sure it was saved completed before closed) and closed the program, later I opened it and received a pop up saying that the file was not a supported file. It seems my file was in the same stage as others, I had finished flat color and was working on shading when my issue occurred. I know there is no way to restore the file, but is there a way to avoid this is the future from my end?
I'm sorry, but I have no clue, other than that it might be a good idea to check the free space on and the health of your drive.
Going to resolve this, we haven't been able to be a help, nor is there enough information to fix a bug with this.
