Proxy can not be created in 16.08.2. Working on unstable build kdenlive-16.12-alpha2-x86_64.

Fahad, we need much more precise information. What project profile are you using? What source material do you use? What proxy profile do you use? Do you get any errors reported? Is there any proxy processing visible? Please run Kdenlive from a terminal window in order to catch any diagnosis messages related to proxies. Thank you for your cooperation.

Oh, and Fahad, we don't know which version alpha2 refers to, as there is no such Kdenlive version. When working with git master versions, please report the git master version. Anyway, make sure to update to recent git master before reporting bugs on unstable versions, unless you know the bug hasn't been fixed already.
