error opening file libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1; Toshiba, Intel core i5-2450M @ 2.5GHZ; 8 GB RAM.R: 3.0.3; KDE 4.10.2

Installed KDE following instructions from https://rkward.kde.org/RKWard_on_Windows

Downloaded installer: http://download.kde.org/stable/rkward/0.6.5/win32/install_rkward_0.6.5.exe

Ran installer as administrator -> introduced R and KDE addresses; installer recognized the addresses.

Immediately after starting the installation, an error message popped up (see image attached) stating:

Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files (x86)\KDE\bin\libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll

the file exists in the directory.

I did not see this referred anywhere but solved the installation problem: I discovered that there is a 'KDE Shutdown' button (in windows 7: Start/KDE Release). By shutting down KDE, I was able to install RKWARD successfully.
I imagine that somehow KDE was running some process and would not allow writting the file.
