I do my updates with pacman. When discover realizes that there are updates, I do them with pacman. However the icon stays there. Only way to remove it is to kill plasmashell and restart it.


Also: I would like to disable discover's check for updates

It's an issue in PackageKit: https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues/169
