Description Max Schettler 2016-11-06 01:22:19 UTC
Hi,

when using the global in-/decrease volume hotkeys to change the volume drastically, i.e. holding the hotkeys, the time it takes until the volume is changed for the next time is very inconsistent. This makes the reaction feel slugish to the user, and the audio-feedback is also disrupting the user because of the delays being unpredictable.

If necessary I can create a screencast showcasing the issue.
Comment 1 David Rosca 2016-11-06 08:18:34 UTC
Do you have the same issue with other global shortcuts (eg. changing screen brightness)?
Comment 2 Max Schettler 2016-11-06 10:22:01 UTC
It does not seem like the screen brightness has the same issue. I'm not a 100% positive though, as there is no audio-feedback, whcih is the most obvious indicator of the behavior.

Thanks for the report Max.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue on plasma-pa on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
