Created attachment 102001 [details] backtrace.txt (The Doctor Something complained that Bugzilla refused my bug because the "comment was too long". That is why I resubmit the bug manually, with the backtrace as an attachment.) Application: kontact (5.3.0 (QtWebEngine)) Qt Version: 5.6.1 Frameworks Version: 5.27.0 Operating System: Linux 4.8.4-200.fc24.x86_64 x86_64 Distribution: "Fedora release 24 (Twenty Four)" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: As far as I know, the application cashed when I pressed the `Delete` key to remove a mail from a tab that was displaying several directories in the same view. That seems compatible with the backtace of the crashning thread 1, that shows "KMMainWidget::trashMessageSelected" in the middle of the backtrace.
The Doctor Something also added: > Possible duplicates by query: bug 309979. to the report but I disagree. I add that comment to be honest, and in case I might be wrong.

That bug report is rather old (reported against kmail version 5.3), and that behavior has not reappeared since them (now I use kmail version 5.21.1). Let's close that old bug. Thanks for the reminder.
