Version v2.0.0 on KDE Frameworks 5.27.0 Qt 5.7.0 (built against 5.7.0) Focus not provided for mouse wheel adjustment of 'Val:' (brightness) *slider* (on right-side of backwards color panel (ROYGBIV is backwards from previous versions) . When using focus follows mouse, the slider should take focus on mouseover and respond with 1-increment adjustments to wheel-up/wheel-down inputs. That no longer works. (possibly related to widget issues in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136714 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311241)
The KF5 version of kcolorchooser uses QColorDialog. Please report this issue directly to Qt developers via https://bugreports.qt.io/
BTW, "kdialog --getcolor" still uses the old KDE4 color dialog, but I expect that it will be ported to the Qt5 dialog in the future.
Christoph, thanks, good to know the kdialog trick. I find the traditional dialogs much more useful than the KF5 versions. I have run into problems over and over again with missing sftpkio, etc.. functionality in the new dialogs. I'm used to maintaining files on a server where all of my saves are to sftp://place/they/go, and the new dialogs are hit and miss on whether that is even possible. Sad, I've been working that way for over a decade and it is very frustrating to have functionality broken or removed. Will report the remaining colorchooser issues to trolltech.
