I thought it would only be shown on the first run, but subsequent runs also show the dialog.

I don't have this problem on my Samsung S5, let's see if other folks report this issue as well.

It also doesn't seem to remember my location (i.e. i have to run the set position from GPS all the time, maybe it's related or should i open a new bug about that?)

Yes if your location is not saved, please open a bug about that.
