OpenSUSE Leap 42.2 RC2 plasma5-desktop-5.8.2-1.1.x86_64. The same was with RC1. Window size is not remembered after closing and opening application if multiple monitors are used. If I unplug external monitor (TV via HDMI) and resize a window, its size is remembered after closing and opening. I'm sorry, but it's not the task of the window manager to store the window sizes of a window. It's the task of each application to store it's window size.
(In reply to Martin Gräßlin from comment #1) > I'm sorry, but it's not the task of the window manager to store the window > sizes of a window. It's the task of each application to store it's window > size. So, should I open a new bug report for each application that doesn't remember its size?
(In reply to Kaspars from comment #2) > So, should I open a new bug report for each application that doesn't > remember its size? I'm quite certain that not every application is affected by the problem. It is more likely that it falls into categories like e.g. "affects all Qt 5 applications". In that case it would be enough to report against qt.
