Hi I have an USB TNT device, Conceptronic CTVDIGUSB2 C08-096-001, it works with Windows, but with my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Kaffeine does'nt display the programs, but when I launch recording it works, with sound an image. My graphic card is NVIDIA GTE Force 730
That sounds to be a problem with GPU accel. Are you using Kaffeine version 2.0.4 or upper? If not, then you'll need to use a more recent version, as Kaffeine 1.x has several problems with some GPUs and don't have any way to workaround. We're not maintaining those versions anymore. On Kaffeine 2.0.4 or upper, there's an option at configurations that allows you to set libVLC parameters. There are some parameters that allows selecting the video output module of VLC to one that works with your GPU. You could try: --no-video-title-show -V xcb_glx or: --no-video-title-show -V xcb_xv

Created attachment 103045 [details] attachment-23051-0.html I was initially with Ubuntu 14.04, and I upgraded it later to 16.04. Finally I erased it all and directly installed 16.10 and now it works perfectly. Thank you.
