Sometimes I end up with lots of windows on my current virtual desktop which had better been on different desktops. Using the desktop grid effect (with present windows enabled) for moving the windows around has the disadvantage that the window previews for the current desktop are small (so distinguishing e.g. two dolphin windows is hard) and valuable space, which could be used for bigger previews instead, is occupied by the previews of the other desktops. I suggest adding an effect similar to elementary OS's multitasking view[1] or Windows 10's task view[2]: When the effect gets enabled, present the windows of the current desktops like “present windows” in the upper 2/3. In the lower 1/3 show previews of all desktops, and allow dragging and dropping windows from the “present windows” effect to another desktop. (I know that there are shortcuts for moving a window to a specific work space, but I prefer using drag&drop.)
