Description john jacq 2016-10-24 23:00:36 UTC
Client fails to start. I get the activity timer ticking as if it is going to load, then it vanishes without starting. Yet I get the notifications that emails are arriving.

So I can't view the mail boxes nor send emails.

So where do I look to find what the problem is?

One option I have is to use thunderbird... but I would need to disable Kmail entirely. Obviously the part that polls the pop server every 5 minutes is still working.

Reproducible: Always

I'm using
 Kubuntu 16.04
KDE 5.5.5
Qt 5.5.1
Linux kernel 4.4.0-45-generic
OS 64 bit

Sorry, I no longer use KMAIL , I switched to thunderbird several years ago.
