Regarding Krusader v2.5 (and subsequent versions!), the compilation and manual installation instead of a compiled installation package is a bit daunting. Please provide a .deb or .rpm to download! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to website or git 2. Download source code 3. Oh, I have to compile, readme files, install missing packages, find out what to copt & where Actual Results: I just lost more than an hour of my life trying to compile & install & re-configure Krusader :-) Expected Results: Download a krusader-2.5.deb, double click it, done :-)
Sorry, this is not our responsibility. The package maintainers of the Linux distributions are a lot better at providing clean and working packages for each distribution version/architecture with correct dependencies, documentation and so on... We cannot even publish packages provided by somebody else since we cannot verify that they are safe to use. At least Fedora and Arch have already packages for 2.5.0. Please inform the corresponded package maintainer of your distribution if it takes too long.
Thank you Alex :-)
