(Sorry if this is not the best component - please reassign if necessary.) I'm new to the world of 360 spherical panoramas, having just acquired an LG 360 Cam device. The URL above is one of my early results. (It's been through enfuse for HDR exposure blending, but the EXIF is maintained intact.) 1) Flickr and Facebook have viewers for these things. It would be nice if digiKam had one too in image-preview mode. (See e.g. https://www.flickr.com/photos/marccecasestecnologia/26661819964/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-photo-sphere/ .) 2) Editing will be a bit tricky, but it would be useful to be able to edit the default orientation visually too. I observe bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346053 exists but that seems to deal with the metadata side of things. That might be related but doesn't seem like a duplicate. Many thanks in advance! Reproducible: Always
Yeah, that would be great!
I have to admit that until recently I didn't know about digicam (Windows user). I was looking for a good open source photo manager to manage, small photo editions, easy masive tagging... ... and with a decent facial recognition software. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised, the only thing I miss for now is, effectively, a photosphere viewer. +1 for native 360º viewer, maybe with different projections options
+1. Also want this feature.
Maik, This file can be proposed in the future as a new GoSC project for students. Gilles

I just migrated to digiKam and a native 360º viewer looks like one of the last pieces to make it a perfect solution for photo management/viewing.
