In "System Settings" user can search for some item (e.g. Touchpad) and when the search criteria has been filled "System Settings" highlights the proper KCM icon. It will be good if when user types the search criteria and when hits "enter" button to be directly sent to the settings which he searched for.

This works in Plasma 5.18. You will need to use the down arrow key to select the item, and then pressing enter will go to it.
