I use a UHD (3840x2160) resolution display on a 24" monitor. In order to have a comfortable viewing experience, I scale KDE to 2x by setting System Settings > Display and Monitor > Scale Display > Scale: 2x. Everything scales fine except for the window chrome (the window edges). On the edges of windows, my mouse cursor scales down to what I am guessing is 1x (since it looks like half the size I prefer). I have made an unlisted YouTube video to demonstrate the problem: https://youtu.be/NYPd4CHnaBk Other than the aesthetic issue this causes, having a half-sized cursor makes it harder to grab window edges. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set display scale at 2x. 2. Open any KDE window. 3. Place the mouse on the window edge. Actual Results: The mouse cursor shrunk to (probably) half size. Expected Results: The mouse cursor to remain the same size. I was rather overwhelmed by the number of projects and options required to submit this bug. I apologize if it's in the wrong place.
@David: is display scale in Qt playing into the cursor size? If yes we need to make sure that KWin also uses that.
