Description Atila Neves 2016-10-16 15:48:17 UTC
No Qt apps can be launched without crashing as soon as the network is connected. A manual disconnect (unplugging the ethernet cable or disconnecting from wireless) makes the problem go away. All of them crash in the QXcbConnection constructor.

Firefox is launched fine, but it's not a Qt app.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install plasma-nm on a Lenovo P50
2. Connect to a wired or wireless network
3. Try to launch any Qt application

Actual Results:
The apps fail to start, no matter how they're launched (alt+f2 or clicking on the menu). Looking at journalctl and coredumpctl showed me they were crashing.

Expected Results:
Not crash.

Closing, not plasma-nm bug.
