I have an audio CD in my drive. If I open a picture with gwenview like "gwenview picture.png", when it opens the "Folder" pane in the "View" view, I get multiple annoying popups with the text: URL cannot be listed audiocd:/?device=/dev/sr0 I'm guessing this isn't a gwenview issue, it is just the way I can trigger it. If I remove the audio CD, I don't get the message doing the same test. Reproducible: Always
I notice the following in the konsole: kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd" kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd" kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd" kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd" WARNING: Phonon::createPath: Cannot connect Phonon::MediaObject ( no objectName ) to Phonon::AudioOutput ( no objectName ) kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd" kf5.kio.core: Refilling KProtocolInfoFactory cache in the hope to find "audiocd"
"kio-audiocd" will be released as a KF5 port with KDE Applications 16.12 in december. If this issue is resolved after you installed it, please add a comment or close this bug.
(adding Leslie to double-check)
Thanks! I had a look and I can install the "live" package from Gentoo's overlay, which is effectively master. Is there any value in pre-testing that?
