Description shionruk 2016-10-12 16:20:16 UTC
Following Kritas tutorial on Azaleas, crashed happened after attempting to apply transform mask to a cloned layer

Tested this multiple times, it seems to be affected by the file size, as applying transform mask to a brand new file where I drew a simple shape to test did not crash

Tested this by making a new file, drew multiple objects, and it crashed

First crash was done on a cloned layer, but it happens without it as well, just on larger file size

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new file, draw multiple objects on it
2. Attempt to apply a transform mask
3.crashing

Actual Results:
Crashing

Expected Results:
It would let me continue and be able to transform the layer as wanted

Hi,

Can you check with 3.0.1.1? I think I've already fixed that issue. At least, I cannot reproduce it with 3.0.1.1.

Forgot to change the status.

Hi, jumping on the bandwagon here but I can reproduce on 3.0.1.1 with both large and small files.
Surface pro 4 windows 10.

As soon as I attempt to add a transform mask to a duplicated layer, Krita crashes.

Was the original a vector layer? And did you duplicate the layer or create a clone layer?
Comment 5 Chris Edgington 2016-10-25 10:38:03 UTC
Hi,

Not a vector layer: straightforward brush
Duplicated layer via right click on layer in docker, duplicate layer or mask

Thanks

Sorry, should have added: same behaviour if it's a cloned layer as well, add transform mask and krita crashes

can you please check if this issue is still reproduced in the latest version of Krita.
