Every time I try to open this 2 day old arkwork that I've been working on, it will display this message:Could not open C:/Program Files/Krita (x86)/HalloweenUndertale.kra Reason: Not a valid Krita file: C:/Program Files/Krita (x86)/HalloweenUndertale.kra I don't remember doing anything with the file or its formats besides repeatedly saving, No, this does not happen to my other artwork, It is only one specific one having problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open '.kra' artwork 2. Fail to open artwork 3. Repeat in depression Actual Results: This is the following message that pops up: Could not open C:/Program Files/Krita (x86)/HalloweenUndertale.kra Reason: Not a valid Krita file: C:/Program Files/Krita (x86)/HalloweenUndertale.kra Expected Results: It should have showed me my work that I've been working on. i'm not kidding about the 'lose data' part in 'severity'.
That sounds like the file might be broken :-(. Is there a backup file still? (Should end in a ~). You could also try one of the many zip repair tools out there to see if it's repairable, or I can give it a try if you can share the file with me (foundation@krita.org). Please also be sure to update to 3.0.1.1, since we added some extra precautions against data loss in that version.
I recovered the file.
