When I open some txt file, it looks like an empty file (no characters, clear sheet)
When I imput some characters, it doesn't show in the sheet, bu they'r imputed cause when I save the file and open it in any other text editor, the imputed characters are shown.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kate
2. Try to imput something in it

1. Open any txt file within Kate

Actual Results:  
Sheet is empty, no characters are shown

Expected Results:  
The sheet should be filled by imputed charackers
