Hi, I use Spotify as my main music player, when I go over the task bar to see the preview of this application I see a picture of the current music album. The bug starts when I go over other applications previews after passing over the Spotify one, it keeps the album picture in the preview no matter which other program I'm passing over. That's it. Thanks for the great job done up to now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Spotify 2. Start other apps 3. Go over the task bar to see the previews Actual Results: Wrong image preview, keeps the one from the music player Expected Results: specific preview of each application
Can you reproduce this in Plasma 5.11? The task manager got a lot of improvements since when you reported the issue and now.

I think the problem doesn't appear any-more, the task manager has improved since my report. But I'm now using the Latte Dock so I can't check in similar conditions right now. Regards
Thanks for the info. Marking as fixed; feel free to re-open if you ever decide to give the regular Task manager a whirl again and can reproduce the issue.
That was a nightmare to fix in Latte... Latte is based on the old architecture of plasma taskmanager that the window previews were using a different mechanism for single task preview and for multiple ones... I think that the new design of previews in plasma taskmanager uses the same mechanism both for a single preview and for multiple, so there is a chance that this change may have fixed this also... Latte solved this with an ugly workaround that I am not happy with... moving from task to task the window preview is hidden and shown again with a small interval e.g. 150ms this was enough to solve this on the old architecture...
