for Davids comment, I think that it should remain in A, the window should be in A and C in the end and not in B ----- can we confirm also that if a window is in A and B, and the user drags the window from A to B the window will be removed from A and stay only to B?

I see described problem again in plasma 5.15.1 (KDE Neon distribution). The only difference is when moving window from activity to activity, activity is not changed, window is not moved.
After Upgrade from Ubuntu LTS 16 to 18, drag and drop on activity pager (widget) do not work anymore. before the bug, these features was working: - drag application icon from taskbar and drop to some activity on activity pager. - drag some activity from activity pager, and drop to another activity (move current active window from the initial selected activity)
This is a pain point. Is there any way I could help out with this issue?
As I understand it, the code from the 2016 patch is located around https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/blob/master/applets/pager/plugin/pagermodel.cpp#L485-505. However, it doesn't seem to help here.
This appears to be fixed since I can drag windows between activities using the activity pager in Plasma 5.26.1. I tested dragging from the task bar and dragging from the pager.
