Breeze Dark is listed in System Settings as Breeze which is confusing. Its index.theme file is missing the Dark surname. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open System Settings 2. Go to Icons 3. See duplicated Breeze entries Actual Results: Breeze appears twice in the list of icon themes. Expected Results: Breeze Dark should be a separate entry.
I see why this is happening. both themes are sharing the same index file. I honestly don't see why that was necessary, besides it causes this confusion. Moreover the original file is in breeze-dark and notin breeze.
Hi Uri, thanks for reporting the bug it look like the themes file was overwritten by the breeze ones. will fix it but it has to be backported to the stable KF branch. will have to lock how it will work.

the bug was only in the 5.27 rc release so no problem in the stable 5.26 release.
Per comment #4, kf5-5.27 (final) release was affected by this too (presumably the fix was inluded in recent 5.28.0 release, but I didn't have time to verify)
Year 2017, since Opensuse 13.2 to Opensuse 42.2 and tumbleweed, the breeze dark icons disappear, and i have the last version of breeze icons files.
