Using print assistant and print is only sending printer low resolution greyscale image. Preview of print is correct. Worked perfectly up until latest upgrade.
Printer is configured correctly and prints Ok using GIMP etc.
Using Turboprint as printer manager.
Linux Open Suse 42.1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.set printer configuration Canon glossy 9600dpi landscape, srgb A4 (A3 not tried)
2.select image
3.set up in print assistant -  preview ok
4. set margins if required
5. select print

Actual Results:  
300DPI greyscale

Expected Results:  
9600DPI colour print

Correction ------ output reverts to 600dpi, plain paper, greyscale from printer configuration of  9600dpi colour srgb glossy Canon 201

Can you reproduce the problem using digiKam Linux AppImage bundle ? The last bundle is available at this url:

digiKam 5.6.0 is now released and available as bundle for Linux, MacOS and Windows.
