The autoplay seems to create a playlist which splits up the filename of the newly created video, as shown in the picture. I have to manually load the video file into the media player to play it. This seems to be a problem introduced in 16.08 - I had no problems with previous version of Kdenlive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a project, then: Render project > More options > Play after Render 2. You will then find that it will not autoplay, as shown in the illustration UEL. 3. Actual Results: See the URL above Expected Results: File open in Parole and starts to play.
I cannot reproduce. Which render profile are you using ? What is the extension of the rendered video file ? From your screenshot it looks like the rendered video has no extension...
Created attachment 101491 [details] Project file I use to create all my videos (which should include render profile).
I have just added my standard project file, which I use to create the videos, and I hope this shows how they are rendered. A typical path for a completed video is: /home/phillip/Videos/Bernhard Lufer Zu Grossvaters Zeiten1 18 4 1896.mp4 . The file title includes all the elements I use in the YouTube video description (I use Kdenlive to create videos for YouTube). It is just that the automatic playback of created videos does not work, because the filename seems to be split up. I never had this problem with versions of Kdenlive prior to 16.08. Do let me know if you need any further information. Regards, Phillip Sear
