I press on the light bulb to  do onion skin and every time i do a new frame it doesn't show.

Reproducible: Always

Could you check if...

1. Your layer has some transparency.
2. The top-row saying -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 etc needs to be toggled?

Hi Lydia,

I've tested this with 3.0.1.1 and it does work. If you're using 3.0.0, please update because that release had some unfortunate default settings. You might also have to clear you user settings:
