How I did it:
1: Install debian unstable with kde (plasma-workspace-wayland) on virtual box on windows.
2: thinks seems working (can login in kdm under x11)
3: loging out. An select plasma wayland. 
4: after login then I only got a black screen 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

working desktop

VirtualBox doesn't support Wayland yet.
