Tasks shows up on other monitor than the application is running on. (Configured to only show tasks on that desktop and screen.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start an app 2. Look on other monitor than app is running on 3. App is on wrong monitor Expected Results: For tasks to show up on the right Task Manager. Fresh install of Fedora 24, Desktop a few weeks ago. Current update as of today (Sep 23, 2016). KDE does not show version # (separate bug). Started with one monitor, added a 2nd all OK, then a 3rd and problems appeared. Sometimes after login the background is missing on some monitor, and/or Taskbar is missing as well. Figured it was some KDE bug waited for updates and applied them for a few weeks. Works great under F21 and Windoze 7 (multiple boot). Login is fast < 10sec. Logout takes a long time (~60 sec) with lots of disk I/O. Running on SSD for all but user dir which is on spinning platter. Sometimes one monitor has no bg and will not accept a R-Click to add taskbar etc. Logout/Login and it may or may not work at that point. Logout/Login and things will have changed. Have tried new user, updates, disable/enable monitors all to no avail.
multi monitor support has been rewritten for Plasma 5.8. please reopen if this problem will show on Plasma 5.8 or newer.
I'm experiencing this bug on a newly installed Arch linux distro with KDE Plasma 5.8.3-1 !! I have a two monitor setup with task manager also configured to show only tasks on current screen. The tasks are inverted (tasks present on the panel on my left monitor show on my right monitor when maximized and vice versa).
