Just a small thing I noticed: after you choose your .kdenlive project file to open in the "Open Recent" menu section, a window comes up that says "loading playlist". I think this can be confusing to users, since they see this right after opening their project. I'd suggest changing the text to say "Loading Project", instead. Reproducible: Always Discovered on Kdenlive 16.11.70 via Ubuntu git-master ppa. Kubuntu 16.10 daily build, KDE Plasma 5.7.2. KDE Frameworks 5.24.0 Qt 5.6.1
+1 I too find this too technical, and MLT-centric. (Writing this as a library patch just has landed for 16.08.2 and I'm using the term playlist in improved error reporting ... not that I'm fond of the word playlist.)
Jesse, the dialog title already says "Loading project" and the progress step is actually loading the timeline. So what about displaying "Loading project timeline..."?
I already sent in a patch for review some time ago viw the review board. So this is done already sans a developer accepting the patch and committing it.
