If agroup has locked layers inside of it, trying to move that group will cause to move only unlocked layers, while locked layers will remain at positions they were before. It is awkward and unintuitive behaviour because if the group consists of several layers and subgroups and even more collapsed subgroups finding why the group after applying the move tool to it looks different to the way it was before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create two layers, draw something on both of them. 2. Lock one of them, group them. 3. Try to move. Actual Results: Only unlocked layer would move. Expected Results: The program should give a warning about locked layers inside the group, of a dialog window with different options of resolving this situation(i.e. unlock all layers or navigate to a locked layer etc)
Hi Kate, I'm sorry, but this is by design. Other users have explicitly asked for this behaviour to be possible, so we are unlikely to change it at this point.
