Description Luis Payano 2016-09-19 14:27:06 UTC
I like the fact that every preset has its own blendmode, opacity, size, flow, etc. However, it would be nice to have some kind of feature that allows every preset to share these basic settings, kind of like the way default photoshop interface does.

This would be very useful to keep presets "clean" when doing heavy texture work; i often find myself in the need to use several presets in a row using the same blendmode for example, and then have to reset and re-adjust every one of them later on for a different use.

The common workaround i use to avoid having to do this is using a blendmode layer and then painting using the presets on normal, but for things like Soft Light and other effects that stack and build on top of everything else this wont do.

Having a checkbox that allows one to alternate between global settings and the state of each preset would prove very useful for this.

Reproducible: Always

That is already there, it's called 'locked settings'.

Yes! this is exactly what i was looking for! the size and the brush tip seem not to be working properly at the moment, but everything else is working beautifully.

After all these years of using krita, it never ocurred to me i could press right click in that specific place to access that feature, you would think its obvious, even the lockpad thing is there, but i think i wouldn't ever have figured that one out by myself :P
