Description Igor Poboiko 2016-09-18 12:07:28 UTC
The plasma-nm applet still shows a "WiFi Disconnected" icon in the system tray (the one with yellow "?" sign), although I am connected to wifi.
However, It shows a correct icon and "Connected to ..." message in the tooltip, and in the applet itself.

Reproducible: Always

This is clearly a regression, it appeared after an upgrade to Plasma 5.7.95.

Do you have NetworkManager 1.4.0? If so, it's bug 367938.
Comment 2 Igor Poboiko 2016-09-19 08:09:22 UTC
The versions are following:
NetworkManager 1.4.0
networkmanager-qt 5.26.0
plasma-nm 5.7.95

The nm-qt patch from the bug 367938 fixed the issue for me. Sorry for the noise!
